Goshen man facing new charges in murder case

GOSHEN, Ind.-- Prosecutors have filed another charge against the man accused of killing a Goshen business owner in October.

John Hawley, a homeless man is accused of murdering Ken Patel, the owner of The Goshen Inn.

Prosecutors said that Hawley killed Patel during the course of a Robbery.

Prosecutors say that based on two prior felony convictions, Hawley was a habitual criminal offender when the murder took place and could potentially be adding 30 years to his sentence if convicted of murder.
