Goshen Police identify pedestrian killed in crash Friday morning

GOSHEN, Ind. -- Goshen Police have identified the pedestrian who was killed in a crash Friday morning at Lincolnway East and Kercher Road.

Just before 6 a.m., police responded to the scene and found bystanders attempting life saving measures on 51-year-old Michael Brown of Syracuse.

Witnesses said Brown was struck by a vehicle after he entered the roadway, police said.

Paramedics took over life saving measures, but they were unsuccessful.

Brown was pronounced deceased around 6:15 a.m.

The driver remained on scene and cooperated in the investigation.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
