Goshen Police investigating hit-and-run

GOSHEN, Ind. – The Goshen Police Department is looking for a vehicle and suspect involved in a hit-and-run accident that took place on May 28.

At 4:05 a.m., a white passenger car traveling northbound through the intersection of 8th Street and Madison Street hit a 61-year-old pedestrian before leaving the scene, reports said.

The victim was found several minutes later by a passerby as the victim lay on the side of the road unconscious.

The man regained consciousness before being taken to a local hospital to be treated for a head injury, police said.

The vehicle involved was captured on a nearby camera and parts of the damaged vehicle were found in the road.

Damage to the vehicle will be on the passenger side and the vehicle is missing most of the passenger side mirror.

This incident is currently under investigation.
