Goshen’s Fire and Ice Fest set for February 27
GOSHEN, Ind. – The Fire and Ice Fest is returning this year with safety measures in place to ensure all guests can enjoy the city’s tradition.
Usually reserved as one of Goshen’s First Friday events, the Fire and Ice Fest will be held on a Saturday this year to give families a longer timeframe to go out and enjoy the event.
The event runs from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Feb. 27.
At the event, ice carvers will work to turn 45 ice blocks into 30 different art pieces throughout downtown.
In an effort to maintain COVID-19 guidelines, Main Street will be blocked off between Lincoln Avenue and Jefferson Street to allow more room for physical distancing.
Those visiting the festival and other businesses downtown are asked to adhere to Elkhart County’s COVID-19 policies like mask-wearing and social distancing.
