GOSHEN, Ind. – Goshen Community Schools donated an unusable bus to the City of Goshen on Wednesday to help firefighters learn about bus safety practices.

The bus was decommissioned and all markings were removed that indicated the bus belonged to the school corporation.

Mechanics will use the bus to familiarize Goshen Fire Department firefighters with bus mechanical systems.

First responders will also learn about bus emergency exits and critical points.

Training will take place for all three fire department shifts on July 12, 13, and 14 at the Goshen Community Schools bus compound.
