Goshen Wheels and Deals Downtown returning June 7

GOSHEN, Ind. -- Another month means another week of First Friday events across Michiana and the City of Goshen is excited to bring back Wheels and Deals Downtown this Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. 

"First Fridays fans from throughout Elkhart County arrive on bikes, roller skates, blades, skateboards, unicycles, tricycles, and everything in between, for the return of Wheels and Deals to Downtown Goshen," organizers said. [The event] delivers activities for all, great eating and drinking options, seasonal shopping specials, and free musical entertainment headlined by the national touring band The Steel Wheels. The First Fridays Beer Garden, food trucks, and downtown eateries are on hand to delight the most discerning of taste buds and keep the crowd fed and fueled for an evening of good fun and great, family-friendly entertainment."

The event is put on by Downtown Goshen Inc. and Friends of the Pumpkinvine Trail.

Organizers say the event celebrates Goshen’s welcoming and supportive stance toward bicycles and other types of wheels and rides.

"This upcoming First Friday is such a great way to put emphasis on our bike-friendly town," said Director of First Fridays Amanda Rose.

"The Wheels and Deals celebration, whether you're riding a bike or not, has something for everyone. We're very thankful to the Friends of Pumpkinvine for their support of our entertainers and for making this free Steel Wheels concert a reality.
