Goshen woman arrested after buggy crash in Kosciusko County
Kosciusko County Jail KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. -- A Goshen woman faces possible Operating While Intoxicated charges after a buggy crash left four hurt, including a baby less than a month old.
This happened Friday, May 29, in Kosciusko County. Investigators say 24-year-old Jakaila Miracle was traveling south on State Road 19 when she hit the back-left side of the buggy. Four people in the buggy were taken in for medical attention, including the driver, two passengers who were ejected from the buggy, and a 25-day-old baby. The baby was transported by helicopter to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne. The status and extent of any of their injuries are not known.
Miracle was found at N 350 W and US 30. According to the crash report, alcohol appears to be a factor in this crash. Officials say this is being investigated as a possible Operating While Intoxicated case.
