Gov. Snyder looking to cut down state obesity

LANSING, Mich.-Michigan spends $3 billion a year in medical costs dealing with obesity. According to a new report, it's the 10th most obese state in the country.

Snyder is working to change that. Next week Wednesday, about 500 health experts will gather in Lansing, for the Michigan Call to Action to reduce and prevent obesity summit.

The goal is to come up with a plan that will help the state prevent and reduce obesity.
