Governor Pence congratulates Trinity school for award

Indiana Governor Mike Pence was in town Wednesday congratulating one school for a very special accomplishment.

Trinity School at Green Lawn was awarded the Blue Ribbon School Award for the fourth time. It is the highest award from the United States Department of Education.

Trinity is the first school in the state to get the honor so many times.

"My heartfelt congratulations for this school for receiving that award one more time. four times. The only school in Indiana to receive it," said Governor Pence.

The award recognizes both public and private schools where students excel academically.
