Governor Pence to be in Elkhart Tuesday for grant kickoff

Governor Mike Pence will be in Elkhart Tuesday, December 22 for the Regional Cities grant award kickoff event at the Lerner Theatre, according to a press release.
The governor will be joined by Jim Schellinger, the President of the Indiana Economic Development Corporation, John Thompson, an IEDC board member who served on the Regional Cities Initiative Strategic Review Committee, and Victor Smith, Indiana's Secretary of Commerce.
Regional Cities of Northern Indiana, which includes Elkhart, Marshall and St. Joseph counties were awarded $42 million by the Regional Cities Initiative Strategic Review Committee earlier this week.
The event will begin at 11 a.m.
