Grace College announced their 2021 commencement plans

WINONA LAKE, Ind. -- Grace College and the Theological Seminary’s annual commencement will be held over three separate ceremonies on May 14 and 15 this year celebrating both 2021 and 2020 graduates.

All three ceremonies will take place in the Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center, 610 Wooster Rd., Winona Lake.

This year’s commencement will honor 467 graduates, including more than 100 2020 graduates who did not have the chance to formally graduate last year due to the pandemic.

“The 2020 and 2021 graduating classes are the most resilient classes I’ve had the pleasure of congratulating as they walk across the stage,” said Dr. Bill Katip, president of Grace College and the Theological Seminary.

“Their adaptability and determination to persevere when circumstances were not ideal are truly commendable. I’m excited for the opportunity to honor them,” Dr. Katip added.

The School of Arts and Sciences and School of Education will be celebrated on May 14 at 7 p.m.

On the following day, the School of Behavioral Science, School of Ministry Studies and Grace Theological Seminary will have their ceremony on May 15 at 9 a.m.

Finally, the School of Business and School of Professional and Online Education will be honored on May 15 at 2 p.m.

“Having the ceremonies divided by academic school not only allows us to social distance, but it also allows graduates to invite four family members or friends to attend the ceremony,” said Dr. Katip.

Tickets are limited for the commencement ceremony, but each commencement ceremony will be also be streamed on the Grace College Youtube page.
