Grand Rapids prepares for big art show

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Grand Rapids' big art show kicks off Wednesday and artists all across the city are putting the final touches on their pieces.

The art comes in lifts, pickup trucks, even cranes and artists are scrambling to get everything ready for ArtPrize opening day Wednesday.

One piece of art is getting a lot of attention in a big way. A giant bra is helping raise money for the American Cancer Society to fight breast cancer.

"This size it is 23 triple Z plus. It had a lot of meaning and I wanted to bring something for the American Cancer Society for awareness of breast cancer," said the artist.

More than 1,800 artists are bringing their best to this year's fair and there is a lot of incentive. There is more than half a million dollars in prizes.
