SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The United States Attorney's Office Northern District of Indiana announced 60-year-old Timothy Wyllie, of Granger, was sentenced after pleading guilty to possessing child pornography.

Wylie was sentenced to 10 years and one month in prison followed by 15 years of supervised release.

Court documents state in April 2023, Wyllie was released from prison after serving two terms totaling nearly 20 years for state child molestation and federal distribution of child pornography convictions.

The documents go on to state within two months of Wyllie's release, and while under federal supervised release and state parole, he began uploading several files of child sexual abuse material to social media platforms and downloaded hundreds of images of child sexual abuse material from the internet.
