With Helene barreling through the American southeast right now, the resultant cloud cover and wind will be impacting Michiana through this weekend. Expect gray skies and seasonable highs today amidst a backdrop of windy conditions through most of today. Wind gusts are expected to reach up to 45 mph, but some areas south of US-30 could see even higher values. Low rain chances enter the picture tonight with light scattered showers expected to last through Saturday morning, warranting an umbrella or rain jacket for any tailgating plans at ND stadium tomorrow. Not everyone will see wet weather this weekend, but those who do will likely find it more inconvenient than actually impactful. This weekend will not be a washout by any means, but expect scattered showers to linger through tomorrow and Sunday, tapering off before the start of next week.
Today: Windy and cloudy. High 75.
Tonight: Showers. Low 62.
Saturday: Scattered showers. High 74.
Sunday: Scattered showers. High 75.
