Group pushes for changes in Indiana liquor laws

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- A group of grocery, drug, and convenience stores renewed its annual call for changes in Indiana liquor laws, but there's a new twist.

The group is proposing grocery stores can only sell cold-beer from Indiana breweries. In Indiana, currently only liquor stores can sell packaged cold beer, and only bars and restaurants sell on Sunday.

Some say looser liquor laws will lead to more abuse and teenage drinking, and liquor stores, on the other hand, say changing the laws could put them out of business.
