Groups holding forum for South Bend Common Council at large candidates

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The American Democracy Project of IU South Bend and the League of Women Voters of the South Bend Area are holding a candidate forum for the At Large South Bend Common Council candidates.

The forum will be held Tuesday, March 19 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Louise E. Addicott and Yatish J. Joshi Performance Hall (158 Northside Hall), 1825 Northside Blvd., IU South Bend.

There are nine at large candidates, but only three slots.

The forum gives you a chance to meet all nine democratic candidates as they answer questions about their leadership experience, skills, priorities and vision for the city.

The following candidates are scheduled to participate:

  • Lori Hamann
  • Suzan Kesim
  • Joseph Luten
  • Lynn Mahoney
  • Anne Mannix
  • David Parker-Brooks
  • Rachel Tomas Morgan
  • Karen White
