Take a guided tour of South Bend's historical African American landmarks on March 23

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Eventgoers have a chance to attend a guided tour of historical African American landmarks across South Bend on Saturday.
The tour includes sites instrumental in the development and growth of the African American community in the city.
The history tour starts at the Civil Rights Heritage Center located at 1040 W. Washington Street in South Bend, Indiana at 11 a.m. and runs until 2 p.m.
There will be a late lunch at the conclusion of the tour at what was formerly known as the African American business district.

The event is hosted by Saint Mary’s College Office for Civic and Social Entertainment and Justice Studies in partnership with the Civil Rights Heritage Center.
