After closure in 2020, YMCA reopens in downtown
ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. - A student has been taken to the Elkhart County Juvenile Detention Center after investigators found a gun on them at Jimtown Junior High School Friday morning.
The school went into lockdown at 11:27 a.m. after administrators learned a student may have had a gun at school.
The student was detained and the weapon was confiscated by school resource officers.
The lockdown was lifted at 11:45 a.m.
