Habitat for Humanity and Kem Krest build walls for new home

Habitat for Humanity is getting some help in Elkhart on Thursday.

Workers from Kem Krest are working to build the walls for a new home.

The nonprofit organization is providing the materials for the new building

Workers on the project say they are happy to see others pitching in.

“Its pretty amazing watching the families all the way through the phase of the build. They’re working throughout the whole build, so they get excited seeing the other companies and other people working on their houses and stuff. There really isn’t a way to put it into words of how they feel everyday when they see others working on their house,” says Duffy Sherman, Construction Supervisor.

After the walls are built, they will be loaded on a truck and taken to the new house.
