ELKHART, Ind. – Hall of Heroes Superhero Museum is hosting its fifth annual Comic Con at the Northern Indiana Event Center on Saturday, March 5 through Sunday, March 6. Doors open for the general public starting at 10 a.m. 

Whether you’re into superheroes, Syfy, anime, or pop culture, Allen Stewart the director of Hall of Heroes Superhero Museum said they have something for everyone.   

 Of Heroes Comic is one of the biggest events of the year in Elkhart, according to Stewart. He said thousands of comic book fans coming through the door each year. 

 At the two-day event, there will be panels, cosplay, photo opportunities, special guests appearances like Jonathan Heder, who plays Napoleon Dynamite, and Doug Jones who’s in the Star Trek tv series.   

 With around 80 vendors expected to be at the convention, you’ll find everything from comics, toys, gaming or anime-related items, and memorabilia.

Stewart said if you’re a collector of anything, this is the place for you.

“It’s just a cool opportunity for people. You know people come out to either meet the celebrities or they come out to do cosplay, or attend the panels, or they come out to shop with the vendors. There is so much going on for people this weekend,” Stewart said.

Stewart said Hall of Heroes Comic-Con is one of the biggest Elkhart events of the year and is the biggest fundraiser of the year, with all profits going towards the museum.


Comic-Con is a two-day event. On Saturday, the event runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.on Sunday.
