SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Daddy Daughter Dance in South Bend was a hit!
Hosted by South Bend Venues Parks and Arts, dads and their daughters came out tonight for the Trolls-themed dance party.
Many dressed the part too, with some arriving decked out in vibrant wigs or dressed up as Troll characters entirely.
For others, stickers were sufficient to accompany tonight's formal attire, provided the choreography was well rehearsed.
"Oh man, we having the greatest time ever. Are you having fun, baby? Yeah...man, she's getting she's worked. We've been working on it alot. Yeah, we was practicing a dance rehearsal. She been making me practice the dance moves before building up into the event and everything," stated attendee Dontrell Smith and Kienleigh Griffin.
They continue, "Okay, what are you so? Are you having fun, baby, Dad, what would you rate your fun on a scale from one to 10? ... 1000! Yeah, this is such a beautiful event. I love it. I love it so much. You know, it's a great chance for us to come out and celebrate with the girls and you know, just to see all the fathers in the community come together. Man, it's a beautiful thing."
Organizers tell ABC57 News, fathers and daughters were treated to a dance performance as well.
