Harrison Street in Elkhart could become two-way

ELKHART, Ind. — Harrison Street in Elkhart could soon become a two-way street.
The city is considering a proposal to make the switch.
Officials say the transition would encourage lower speeds to make things safer for drivers.
If the plan is approved, it would be completed by labor day.
