Hazardous Waste Facility in South Bend now disposing of residents' Styrofoam

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The Hazardous Waste Facility in South Bend will now take care of residents’ unused and unneeded Styrofoam, according to the Solid Waste Management District.

Now, customers are asked to take the Styrofoam directly to the hazardous waste site. Please do not put the Styrofoam in curbside bins.

*Note: Packaging peanuts are not accepted at the facility. Most packaging peanuts easily dissolve in water.
