Health Department clinics still offering flu vaccines

SOUTH BEND, Ind. --- As the flu season picks up, the CDC is urging people to get vaccinated.

They say that last year's flu season was one of the worst.  It sent more than 3,000 people to the hospital, and killed 169 children.

72 Hoosiers died last year from complications reated to the flu.

If you still need the vaccine, they are still available at the St. Joseph County Health Department clinic for $25.

The CDC says only 40-percent of people ages six months and older usually get the shot.

They are advising you get your shot while they're in stock.
