Health-Linc helps to give kids a smile

MISHAWAKA, Ind. –- Some local children have a lot to smile about!

Health-Linc in Mishawaka participated in the "Give Kids A Smile Day" program.

It's sponsored by the American Dental Association and gives kids without insurance free exams!

Heath-Linc also handed out free toothbrushes. The company gave kids and parents some brushing tips!

"[We have been] helping them understand how they're supposed to brush their teeth, [and] what they should do in a dental emergency, so if they injure their mouth or teeth in some manner. They have all the appropriate tools that they need to take care of their teeth,” said Sarah Hoshaw, Director of Corporate Strategy and Community Engagement.

In addition to the free teeth cleanings, Health-Linc also raffled off prizes!
