FIRST WARNING NEIGHBORHOOD WX FORECAST
Saturday, June 15th, 2019
It won’t be a pretty Father’s Day weekend with periodic showers and a few thunderstorms thrown in the mix. Highs will barely reach 70 Saturday under cloudy skies. Sunday is a bit warmer in the mid-70s with a few peaks of sun possible. Sunday’s rain and storm chances are lower than Saturday’s. The heaviest rain and severe weather threat should materialize just south of Michiana all weekend.
The pattern stays active overall with at least a 30% chance of showers and a few thunderstorms in the forecast every day thru next weekend. It’s difficult to pinpoint exactly when the best chances of rain will be in patterns like these until 24-48 hours beforehand. Highs will remain below seasonal norms in the 70s next week with a potential rise into the lower 80s by Friday and next weekend as summer officially kicks off.
Today: Scattered showers, cloudy, high of 71.
Tonight: Areas of showers and thunderstorms, low of 63.
Sunday: Mostly cloudy with a few showers or storms, high of 76.
Monday: A slight chance of rain, thunder possible, high of 74.
