Turkey, stuffing and tons of gravy - it's time to get ready for a Thanksgiving feast. A Michiana non-profit is reaching out to the community to make sure families in need get a hot meal on the holiday, too.
This Thanksgiving, Hope Ministries will serve 300 meals inside its building on 532 S. Michigan St. in South Bend and it will also deliver 400 meals to families with help from REAL Services and the Housing Authority of South Bend.
The non-profit needs food donations to help ensure all these meals get made.
The following items are needed:
- Turkeys
- Green beans
- Corn
- Sweet potatoes
- Dinner rolls
- Pies (already baked)
- Stuffing
- Gravy mix
