Henryville students return to class

SCOTTSBURG, Ind. -- Hundreds of Henryville students returned to class on Monday, one month after tornadoes destroyed their school!

Middle and high school students will finish out the year at Mid-America Science Park in Scottsburg.

That's about 15 minutes from Henryville.

Students started the day with a police and fire escort.

Students said that despite the chaos, they are making the best of it!

"I'm really excited, we are really excited.  It's going to be new.  We haven't ever been here before. First day back, it's going to be a little bit crazy," said Lauren Sinn, Henryville student.

Right now, crews are working to re-build the Henryville School Complex.

They hope to have it done by August 1.
