Henryville teachers could be reimbursed

HENRYVILLE, Ind. — Henryville, Indiana teachers could be reimbursed for the personal items lost during last years tornado.

The Evening News and Tribune reports that the local teachers' union in Henryville is considering using donations to reimburse those teachers.

More than $500,000 was donated to the school district after the March 2012 tornado that destroyed the town.

The union president says some teachers lost as much as $1,500 worth of personal items not covered by insurance.
