High school football game rescheduled due to thunderstorms

WALKERTON, Ind.-- The Jimstown and John Glenn High School football game was rescheduled for 9:30 Saturday morning due to thunderstorms Friday night.

The game started thirty minutes late due to some lightning in the distance.

After the first quarter, the big dark storm clouds rolled in and everyone was sent inside the gym.

Spirits were high, but not high enough to keep extreme weather away.

First, a thirty minute lightning delay, then another delay and more extreme weather.

Loyal fans still toughed out the isolated storms to cheer on their teams.

The game made it through the first quarter scoreless and then the skies became pitch black and a lightning show filled the sky.

The teams, cheerleaders, and fans headed inside to wait some more.
