High school students hold Health Expo

Benton Harbor, Mich. - Benton Harbor High School students gave up part of their Saturday to host a Health Expo.

The Berrien County Health Department, the Red Cross, the YMCA, and a number of local groups were on hand to offer information about the services.

One of the teachers we talked to says she's thrilled to see her students helping their neighbors learn how to stay healthy. "As a school counselor it makes me happy because the more information we can get out [the better, and we’re] giving people ways to get help with what they need,” says Benton Harbor High School counselor Trina Rodez.

There were also plenty of fun activities to get people moving, such as a Zumba dance class, Tae-Kwon-Do demonstrations, and healthy snack stations.
