MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The Mishawaka Fire Department announced it will have a hiring seminar on Thursday, August 8 at 7 p.m.

If you've ever been Interested in becoming a firefighter but never knew how to go about it, organizers say this is an opportunity to learn more.

The seminar will give information about how to be a standout candidate in the firefighter hiring process.

Organizers say there will also be discussions about every step from written and physical tests to the interview.
