Hit and run accident sends motorcyclist to hospital

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital after a hit and run crash in Elkhart County.
Just before 12 a.m. Friday, a man was traveling east on old U.S. 20 when an SUV turned right in front of him striking the back corner of his bike.
The SUV fled the scene without stopping and did not return.
The motorcycle driver was transported to Elkhart General Hospital with back pain and a minor head injury.
