Home invasion victim dies, suspects face murder charges

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — A South Bend mother stabbed during a home invasion in December died from her wounds January 5th.

Police said that five men, including three teenagers, broke into a home on North Michigan Street on Dec. 28 and stabbed five people.

Metro Homicide has confirmed that the homeowner, Sandra Price, died from her injuries on Saturday night.

Police have all five suspects in custody.

The suspects are identified as Walter Neely, Khawana Lamar, Lee Griffin, Nate Coley and Gemari Cotton. They were each charged with two counts of robbery and three counts of burglary at their arrest.

They all face two additional charges of felony murder because of Price's death.
