Homicide unit identifies man killed Friday, asks public for tips

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- The Elkhart County Homicide Unit has identified the man who was shot and killed at a gas station on S. Main Street Friday around 4:30 p.m.
The victim was identified as 19-year-old Shamar Barnes.
Investigators say they believe he had recently moved to Elkhart from Michigan.
