Hoosier lottery giving away free Powerball tickets Wednesday

To celebrate the $317 million Powerball jackpot, the Hoosier Lottery is giving away free $2 Powerball tickets in three cities – South Bend, Evansville and Indianapolis on Wednesday.

The first 317 people who are 18 or older will receive a $2 Powerball ticket.

The giveaway starts at noon.

In South Bend, the tickets will be given away at the Martins 926 Erskine Plaza.

The deadline to purchase tickets for the estimated $317 M jackpot is 9:58 p.m. EST on Wednesday.
