Hope Ministries open new location

 On Tuesday, South Bend's Hope Ministries opened the doors to its new kitchen.

The center received a new cooking space at the Family Life Center on Lafayette Boulevard.

The original location on Michigan Street will close.

All of the programs will move to the new location on Lafayette Boulevard.

“Hope has been serving our community for 60 years, and I think it's a great example of how people can live their faith in taking care of folks, but also in empowering them to turn their lives around,” says South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg.

Hope Ministries offers transitional housing to men, women, and families in St. Joseph County.
