Hope Ministries volunteers dish out Thanksgiving for those in need

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- About 100 volunteers made sure those in need got a good Thanksgiving meal.

Hope Ministries in South Bend made close to 900 for delivery all around town. They also served up some of those meals at their center downtown.

Some volunteers even stayed up all night cooking.

"It's really great to see a lot of different members of the community come together to make this project happen,” says Hope Ministries Volunteer Coordinator, Emily Jensen. “The young and the old from different backgrounds everyone really comes together to partner with us to make this happen."

Hope Ministries has been helping families in St. Joe County for nearly 60 years.
