Hope Rescue Mission serves Christmas dinner

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Those who have fallen on hard times or just didn't want to be alone this Christmas had the chance to get a free holiday meal.

Christmas dinner was served at Hope Rescue Mission as part of its annual holiday tradition.

A volunteer at the mission says giving back is important.

"It's important. But it's really important every day of the week, and every day of the year," says Robert Glifinski. "We're open 365 days a year, serving two meals a day."

Several churces came together to make that lunch and dinner possible.
