Hostess recalls a brownie snack
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The FDA has announced a recall of a Hostess snack.

As a result, the company is using caution and recalling the following products:
The FDA in a statement said, "Although the ingredient list on the packaging identifies 'egg' as an ingredient, the 'Contains' statement, which is designed to further alert consumers of allergens in the products, does not include 'egg'".
No injuries or illnesses have been reported.
Those who have an allergy or sensitivity to egg are at potential risk if this product is consumed.
Consumers who have issues relating to eggs are encouraged to dispose of the product or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
