We have a beautiful, warm summer weekend in store for celebrating Independence Day. Good news for fireworks – the weekend should stay dry. There’s plenty of sunshine both days.
This morning, temperatures start in the low 60s, but we’ll climb into the mid 80s by afternoon.
It’s a beautiful evening for fireworks, with temperatures near 70 after sunset.
Humidity increases through the weekend. It will feel hot for the 4th of July with a high near 90, but the heat index will actually be in the mid 90s. Remember to take care of yourself if you’re spending extended time outdoors.
The work week will start hot and dry – highs stay near 90 Monday and Tuesday. The first chance for showers and thunderstorms arrives Tuesday afternoon, but a better chance for a good soaking on Wednesday along with cooling temperatures.
