Labor Day is sunny, muggy, and hot.
Temperatures this morning are already near the 70 degree mark.
By afternoon, highs are in the low 90s, but heat indices creep into the mid 90s. It is sunny and dry.
If you have outdoor plans, be sure to take breaks in the shade or air conditioning, and stay on top of your hydration.
If you are heading to Lake Michigan today to beat the heat, there is a green flag for swimming.
Tuesday is another hot day as we enter into a shortened work week, with highs again near 90. Tuesday evening, we could see a few scattered showers or storms.
Wednesday, the scattered showers continue.
Temperatures will drop through the week, falling into the mid 80s Wednesday and mid 70s Thursday and Friday.
