Fighting Irish Fight for Life program signing day Sunday
This will be the hottest week so far this year, highs in the 90s and sweltering humidity by Thursday and Friday, with a heat index +100° possible. This is your first warning to stay hydrated before the heat arrives and have a plan to find ways to keep cool. Also, with extreme humidity there is a threat for thunderstorms. Round 1 will be as the humidity surges into the region a complex of storms may form, Wednesday or Wednesday night. Round 2 is when the heat breaks Friday night. Severe weather, heavy rain and flash flooding are threats. The exact set-up is still questionable.
Tonight: Mostly clear. Low 62.
Tuesday: Hot, mostly sunny. High 90.
Wednesday: Hot. PM Storms. High 91.
Thursday: Sweltering. High 94.
