Happy Independence Day! Enjoy another beautiful, mostly sunny day today.
There will be a jump in temperatures from yesterday. Many of us will climb near 90 degrees this afternoon, and we’ll notice an uptick in humidity. A dip in the pool or lake will be refreshing, and there’s a green flag for Lake Michigan swimming today.
Highs stay near 90 Monday and Tuesday, then a front Wednesday will bring some relief from the heat and humidity. This will also mean a day of showers and thunderstorms Wednesday, with the possibility of a few trickling into the day Thursday. Another round of storms is possible Friday night into Saturday.
4th of July: Sunny. Hot and humid. High 90.
Tonight: Mostly clear. Low 70.
Monday: Mostly sunny. Hot. High 90.
Tuesday: Partly sunny. Afternoon thunderstorms. High 90.
