Hot temps provide for perfect day at the pool

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- With temperatures climbing into the 90s, it seems like the perfect opportunity to head to the pool.

ABC 57 News stopped by Merrifield Park in Mishawaka around noon. While the pool wasn't all that busy, workers said it will pick up later in the day.

One woman said she was training for her third triathlon this year.

"Without a lot of kids here from the open swim 11 to 12, it's great for training, really good for that," Jane Eubank said.

Workers also said that the extreme heat will sometimes keep people away from the pool.
