House fire in Rochester under investigation

ROCHESTER, Ind. -- Firefighters from multiple departments spent four hours battling a fire at a home in the 6000 block of Cedar Lane in Rochester Tuesday morning.

The fire broke out just after 3 a.m.

Deputies with the Fulton County Sheriff's Department arrived on scene and located two vehicles in the garage, but were unable to make entry into the home.

Firefighters extinguished the fire around 7 a.m.

Contact was made with the homeowners, who were out of state at the time. No one was inside the residence.

The fire is under investigation.
