House fire sparks in Elkhart County

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. – Emergency crews responded to a small house fire on County Road 4 in Elkhart County.
The fire sparked around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday. Fire crews had to cut a hole in the roof to ventilate smoke.
The owners did make it out safely.
No other injuries were reported.
No word yet on a cause.
