ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- In Northern Indiana, housing sales are dropping.
Elkhart County is down 15%, St. Joseph County is down 11%, and Marshall County housing sales have decreased by 52%.
Local realtor, Ivan Sanchez, spoke with ABC57 Night Team, and shared that he's been seeing the opposite.
Sanchez also advised not waiting until a housing market crash to purchase a home.
Housing prices did rise in Indiana during the month of February, with the average cost of a home across the state at $230,000.
