The Elkhart County Fair continues today!
Monday's festivities include an ATV rodeo, goat and beef judging, a poultry Angry Birds fly off, and much more. Admission is $10 at the gate, but children 9 and under get in for free. Country singer Carly Peace will be performing at 8pm tonight, more information on ticketing can be found 4HFair.org.
Anyone heading to the fair, be ready for some hot and humid weather. We’re expecting temperatures throughout the morning in the 60’s and 70’s. There will be lots of sunshine today with temperatures that are reaching into the mid 80’s this afternoon.
Make sure to pack sunscreen - the UV index will be very high. If you're visiting the fairgrounds a bit later on, bring some bug spray as well to protect yourself against mosquitos.
We’ll be seeing highs in the 90’s and humidity building as the week goes on. Although it will be hot, the fairgrounds have shade, water, and cooling stations to help you keep cool as well as air-conditioned buildings for you to check out 4H projects.
The rest of the week will be packed full of events with the fair wrapping up on Saturday.
