Howard Ice Rink temporarily closed

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Howard Park Ice Rink is temporarily closed.
The Parks & Recreation Department said "mechanical issues" caused the sudden closing.
The rink will be closed the remainder of Friday and Saturday morning.
Staff hopes to resolve the issue and reopen by Saturday afternoon or evening.
